If you are issued with an international guarantee
The standby letter of credit may be additionally guaranteed by Interbank by including a guarantee in addition to the issuing bank's. This has the following advantages:
> Elimination of the sovereign risk relating to the issuing bank's countr
> Disappearance of the commercial risk relating to the issuing bank's solvency
> To add Interbank's additional guarantee, the issuing bank must be solvent and the confirmation must be explicitly requested in the standby
